Pocketfuzz

Our Story

How a frustrating spreadsheet became an app used by thousands of people around the world.

The Problem

It started with one too many surprise overdrafts

Like a lot of people, our founder Ray tracked expenses in a spreadsheet — until the spreadsheet got out of hand and the overdrafts started rolling in. Every budgeting app on the market felt either too complex, too expensive, or designed for a different country's financial system entirely.

There had to be a better way. So Ray decided to build one.

The Idea

Simple should not mean powerless

The core belief behind Pocketfuzz is that personal finance tools don't need to be intimidating. You shouldn't need a finance degree to understand your own money. Pocketfuzz was designed from day one to be approachable, fast, and genuinely useful — not just impressive on a product page.

The Build

Built by real users, for real life

Early versions of Pocketfuzz were shared with a small group of friends and family. Their honest feedback shaped every screen. Features that felt clever but were rarely used got cut. Things that seemed minor — like a clear recurring-bill overview — turned out to be the features people loved most.

Early Pocketfuzz dashboard

An early prototype of the dashboard — rougher around the edges, but the DNA was already there.

Today

Growing, but staying grounded

Pocketfuzz is now used by thousands of people who want a calm, clear view of their finances. We're a small, independent team with no VC pressure to bloat the feature set or push ads. Our only goal is to help you feel good about your money.

Thank you for being part of it.
